Meet Dr. Kinkopf, your family Dentist in Stow!
Dr. Yvonne Kinkopf grew up outside of Pittsburgh, PA. She attended St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. After receiving her biology degree she headed to Cleveland to attend Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine.
While at Case she was president of the American Student Dental Association and Student Body President. During her sophomore year in dental school she received a full scholarship for her remaining time at Case from the U.S. Air Force. Upon graduation, she headed to Officers Training School and then on to California to start her career as an Air Force Dentist. While stationed at Vandenberg AFB in California she received the prestigious Company Grade Officer of the Year Award for the US Space Command. She went on to complete a two year assignment in California and then two more years at Andrews AFB in Washington, D.C.
If you ask Dr. Kinkopf about her time in the service she will tell you about the amazing service men and women she had the honor or working with. Time and time again she watched her fellow airmen put service before self and really show what it means to be part of something much bigger than yourself.
Dr. Kinkopf's husband, Greg, grew up in Cleveland Heights, so after her tour of duty was complete, they returned to his hometown, and the town she had grown to love during school.
Dr. Kinkopf practiced in the Cleveland Heights/Mayfield heights area for 13 years before she and her husband moved their family to the quaint town of Aurora. She moved her practice to Stow, to work closer to her home.
In her spare time Yvonne likes to read, garden and spend time with her family. She and her husband Greg have two boys, Zack and Ben.
